Welcome
to the Francis of Assisi Academy for the Protection of Earth. Our academy is an international scientific environmental academy.
The purpose of the Academy is the promotion of a global sustainable development with innovative approaches.
The Academy was founded in the European Nature Conservation Year 1995 (Council of Europe) at the Catholic University of Eichstätt (Germany).The work of of the Francis of Assisi Academy
sees itself as a contribution to the process for peace, justice and the preservation of creation and as a contribution to the Rio-follow-up process (e.g. Agenda 21). Therefore the Academy is involved
in different networks. Examples of our projects, conferences and work you can find in the archive. New projects, conferences e.g. you
